Sometimes it is not possible to renovate the exisitng building due to strucutram instability or economic feasabliity.
The project shown here and in our photo gallery under REF2 demonstrates our ability to adapt to any criteria.
The design brief was to produce a building on the foot print of the barn recalling as far as possible its' ambience. The planning permission forbade a total demolition but happily the gable of the original barn was retainable.The stone recovered from the barn was re-used to create a "soubassement" in stone to the front elevation and the internal barn timbers were re - incorporated in the interior .
